The dude at the dealer said he would do an even trade l just need $1000 for taxes, license and doc fees.

Is the TC a write-off? Are you getting money from the insurance company? that is no even trade, PLUS you have to give him money? Young , Sir! You should not be paying $1000 in taxes on it if its an even trade.

Maybe if it was a '95 TT, then l could see you trading and putting a little money down. But not for an older supra like that one. And it has over 100k..

Definitely keep the tC.

l have an 88 turbo supra love how it drives it is a little heavy but good solid cars parts are still plentifull. lots of body kits and things like that.bye bye tc.ive got a turbo lsd differential if you need to upgrade headlight motors rear wiper arm and motor and a turbo spoiler.

lol. you could part your car out for more than what that supras worth. plus the taxes. that dealer would be laughing at you. l mean..the rims and tires ALONE. would get you a lot of money. when youre looking at an older car, theres usually a lot of repairs that go a long with it, even if it comes certified.

For $1700 you can just but the Supra and have both cars

$1000 for taxes and fees on a car the cost $1750..is not right at all.
the car is 20 years old and has over 100k l would never ever do that deal.

stick with the tC!
that guy is trying to sell you the supra knowing you want a ''ricer'' vehicle, and he could fix that tC up and sell it for a good price knowing someone will buy it based on it being a newer tC..
long story short:
fix the tC if you are strapped for cash and need a vehicle for the next few years.if you want an older car to fix up and cherish, get the Supra, but talk the guy down and part out the tC or something along those line

l would go for the scion. the supra is probley in good condition and you wouldnt have too many problems but the tc is newer and he is ripping you off.
