Is a Scion TC a good car overall

YES! Very good car. Toyota Camry engine which, if you do any research, will run forever. Great resale. Good safety ratings and decent gas mileage. Run out and get one!

Yes they are. they have good speed, surprisingly roomy for a coupe (not too much head room in back seats, im 6'0'' my best friends sister has 1 and l hit my head on the roof when l sit in the back), good accel, not to loud of a car, and looks good in general. l would defiantly recommend this car, just test drive it to see if you like it.

Yes they are very good. l have been wanting one for about a month and have done tons of research and it all says that they are good cars. let me know if you buy one and if you find a 2005 for under $10,000 thats what l am looking for

1) reliable
2) good engine
3) reasonable gas mileage
4) if u do basic maintence, it will last u easily over 100k miles
5) good safety options, has the best safety features out there for cars in its price range
6) warrenty is pretty good.3 years l believe
7) priced reasonably well
8) lots of aftermarket support to customize it
9) pretty spacious, know a lot of pretty tall people ( over 5 ft 10) that fit comfortably in it
10) for a coupe, back seat is also pretty roomy. not for extremely tall people but for people like 5 ft 7 & below its pretty nice. lots of leg room too.

edit: sorry, but this really bugs me when people put incorrect information. c7s is wrong again, the tc is NOT a replacement for the celica. it has nothing to do with the old celica, it is a car of its own. once again, the tc has NOTHING to do with the toyota celica. the engine is not a celica engine, it is a camry engine. & the chassis is not the same as a celica, it was taken off of the toyota avensis which is for sale only in europe.

Yes, the tC is a great car. l bought one almost a year ago & l love it. l will list some of the pros & cons below:

Pros:
- Good Acceleration
- Nice sound system
- Pretty good gas mileage ( l would have hoped for better coming from Toyota)
- Nice interior & controls
- l love how the car looks.
- It is actually pretty roomy inside. The back seat is not really great for people over 6 feet tall.
- They keep their re-sale value very well.

Cons:
- The paint chips on it pretty easy. l was told that Toyota only puts about 4-5 cm of base coat, paint, & clear coat on their vehicles, whereas domestic companies usually have 7-8 cm.
- It would be nice to have a trunk release on the inside of the car.
- Also when opening the trunk when the car is wet, sometimes the water can fall down into the trunk or back seat. Be careful!!
- My driver seat is started to fray a little wear l get in & out. l guess it is the type of material.

Overall, l am very happy with the Scion tC. l am so happy that l have one of my own.

Yes, it uses the same engine and chassis as the Toyota Celica.
It is the Toyota Celica replacement.
It is fun to drive and reliable, but has expensive insurance because lots of teenagers have them. And it is bad on gas.

Total junk do not waste your money
Get a Honda
