Under warrenty they put it in at only 7 PSI, but l heard from several people it can hit 30. l was wondering if anyone knew for sure what the limit was.
l asked toyota today and its 25 safely. It can goto 30 but it wont last very long. And the stock is 7-8 not 5
emiller you dont know what your talking about. TRD makes the supercharger. (toyotta racing division) and its installed by the dealership. l have an 08 Supercharged and have for almost a year now and its runs like a top.

The supercharger is a horrible design and its poorly built on top of that. Some people have done 10-12 psi and it did not last more than a few thousand miles. That engine was not designed to be supercharged in the 1st place.

My 05 tC SC never made it more than about 15k miles before the supercharger crapped out. l broke 2 of them before l sold the car. Stock was 6.5 psi.
