Im wanting to hook an amplifier and a subwoofer up by using my original wiring that powered the factory amp. does anyone know what wires do what?

l dont think there is a factory amp. if you have a standard head unit you you need to find an amp that works with speaker inputs, if you got the upgraded one it has rca plugs. watch the how to install video on wikihow. it already has a sub just a small one.

the amplifier and equipment that supports the factory material is not capable of handling the power of an aftermarket sub-woofer. you need to re-wire the Vehicle.

It is best to take it to a professional and ask them if you can use the factory wiring etc. btw, get 2 subs.
