Just wondering what engine would be the easiest to swap in the 2006 Scion tC. Looking to get a lot more power, and yes l know about the Turbo kit and the supercharger that you can add to the tC, l just wanna know what engine would be good to swap it with.

your best bet is build and turbo.
Tc motors handle boost really good.

what that guy said. l mean, it really is up to u what u want to do. engine swapping it with a different car is a lot of hassle & work, especially if the engine does not fit into the engine bay correctly because then you'd have to rearrange the other components in the car that r under the hood. but l mean, u can hypothetically switch it with almost any engine u want, l mean look at the new scion tc thats in the d1 drift competition, they converted it to a rwd with a brand new custom built engine.

but really, it is cheaper to just build ur engine & turbocharge it. i've seen tc is with built engine is put out over 500 hp & they just destroy other cars at the tracks. the stock tc engine can handle up to 350 whp on stock internals, meaning it does not need any engine modification. anything over that you'd have to build ur engine. if u do decide to go the turbocharge route, look into the turbotoyota is stage 2 or stage 3 kit. it supports a massive amount of power but is meant for a built engine. plus, they r bolt on so it is easier to install than a new engine. check out the link l put, l know that stage 2 supports up to 480 whp!

what the heck you bought a tc, if you wanted more power why didnt you buy a porsche

Just build that stock engine, keep modifying it and just go as far as you want with your car, unless you want to trade-in that TC for another car like a Civic S l which has 197hp stock.but in the end it is all up to you and how far you're willing to go with the build.
