l am looking forward to buying a new car and l am highly interested in the 2008 scion tC.
There are some questions that l still have based on what l allready know about the car.

Does the 2008 model of the tC come with the spoiler in the back? l have seen some without it but l would love it with the spoiler.

How much should l expect to pay for the tC? l have read about how the msrp works .The suggested price of the company that made it is in the 15000-17000 dollars range how much would it be when its all said and done?

Is the car worth it?(for those that might own the car?) Whats good about it...what isn't? From what l have heard/read it sounds amazing but l havent actually been in one so Im not 100% sure.

the spoiler does NOT come standard, however it is an option so u have to find a tC with the spoiler

you should expect to pay around $13,000 to $14,000 for the 08' model, but this depends on the options

i believe the car is worth it from what i've heard (i do not own the car)

PROS: it is reliable (scion is a division of toyota), is of very good value, comes with an enormous amount of standard options, & has a peppy engine

CONS (according to edmunds): has large blind spots, so-so fuel economy, easily scratched or chipped exterior paint, & the rpm at cruising speed is very high

Spoilers are optional extras.
Will end of paying about 22,000 for a good configuration.
The car is totally worth it. Good looks, good performance.

basiclly, nothing comes standard on any scion. every part of one is an option.

and when l say everything, l mean the car does not even come with floor mats, which every car should come with. And the pricing for the car itself is not going to budge, because in here opinion its the lowest price for the car. You might be able to talk them out of some free stuff, but basically, anything thats cool & extra will cost ya.

oh, & if u r over 6'2'' u probably wont like it, since its a pretty small car on the inside. l used to have one, but im right around 6'4 & l had to upgrade to a xB.

good luck with it though. most of the scion dealers r pretty cool & painless, as they want to make it hassle free.

l just got a 09 tc with spoiler and premium audio for 21400. that is in florida for a new car license , tags and everything. great car, spoiler helps it look better but gets in the way a lttle.

the spoiler does not come standard. there are 2 availabe one small lip spoiler for about $400 and a larger one for around $500
without tax you will probally be at around $18,000 to $20,000 depending on options and if you choose automatic or manual ($700 more for automatic)
it is a great looking reliable automobile. deffinitally recomended

The Spoiler is not standard. It is an extra cost.
What is good about it is the looks inside & out. And the reliability.

What is bad is that the insurance is very high. 2 doors mean higher insurance & the fact that most buyers of the tC r teenagers, the insurance is very very high.

It is not great on gas. 0-60mph in 7.4 seconds, which is the same as the Mazda 3 with the 2.3L engine.

A new 2008 tC with a spoiler & automatic transmission should cost $17,500. The Manual transmission with spoiler will be at least $800 cheaper.
