how is the scion xa? i'm thinking about buying one for the mpg?

well scion does not make the Xa no more, unless you get a used one, they replaced the Xa now with XD , almost the same thing

l just traded in my 2003 mustang for a 2008 scion xd, which is basically the newer model of the xa...from what l have read on the internet, the xa is a good car...(but the Toyota Yaris gets even better gas mileage, and brand new starts at about $12,000)

xA is great for gasmileage and a great little car- l do prefer the newer xD though just because of all the improvements on the vehcile. So if you're able to afford new go with the xD, if you find a great deal on a xA buy that one!
