People who buy Toyota do so because they like them not because they like the geeky third door junk saturn.

Yeah, l think th eMazda RX8 was the first to have the third door. But anyways, a third door would be convenient but l think it would throw off the ''lines'' and the very streamline look that the tC has.

The tC is fine the way it is. It has a lot of rear space for passengers. The 3rd & 4th doors on cars like the RX8 r there because Mazda & Saturn couldn't/did not want to engineer a way to have passengers fit though the opening to get to the rear seat. They wanted to appeal to people who considered a coupe impractical but, by adding 2 small doors, they defeat the purpose of having an economy sport coupe. Having two doors like on the tC reduces production costs, reduces weight, eliminates fussing with the rear passenger to close their door before u can & it increases the structural rigidity of the car.

If u want a sports car to carry around 4 people & make sure they can get into it, u need to buy a sedan. In the tC is case, it is called a Corolla XRS.
