is the scion tc a good car

yea l am considering getting one. l drove one and they are really fun to drive if you do not mind a few bumps, they look kinda girly for me but are not 2 bad, there kinda fastish and you can get a ton of stuff to put on it. there toyota so they last for a really long time without breaking down.

For the money they are great cars Toyota reliability sporty fun to drive quick for having a 4 banger and good on gas.
At that price range what are your other choices?

Saturn ION, Ford Focus, Chevy Cobalt, Hyundai Tiburon, Honda Civic

l drove them all and liked the tC the best.
You can also get all kinds of mods straight from the dealer Exhaust, Intake, Super Charger, Ground effects, Spoilers , Radios and a list of other stuff

I've test driven the tC on the freeway once, and it zipped between two big rigs like a knife through hot butter. l have a stock 07 Civic LX, and l love that one too, but l would much rather have the tC because of the hp difference. My Civic has 140 from a 1.8 while the tC has 160 out of a 2.4.

Yes, its a great car for the dollar. Good on gas, a spirited 160 hp, but it also depends if you dont care if your driving a somewhat girl car. l know a lot of people think its going down the road of the civic customizations, with the girl appeal of the mitsubishi eclipse, which has over half girl owner sales. Id go with a used mustang or something along that line but thats me good luck!

You know, people keep saying it is a girlie car, but then again all those people want u to get something with a V-8, which will guzzle ur gas much quicker, & on a lot of these new muscle cars, u cannot get a stick shift, which does make the car a lot more sporty, & it increases fuel efficiency.
l bought a 2008 Scion TC at the end of last February, l test drove it against the Mazda 3, Saturn Astra, Hyundai Tiburon, Ford Focus, Chevy Cobalt, Volkswagen Jetta, & the Honda Civic. Overall l liked the TC the best. So far l am getting great mileage, it is fun to drive, other people like to see the car (although I've noticed l am getting past on the highway a lot more not that l am not driving the inconspicuous '96 Mazda Protege; while going the same speeds as l used to). It is a good affordable, & reliable car, that can be customized by the dealer if u like, it is still a great car without all that extra stuff too. Take it for a test drive & then test drive all sorts of other cars & see what u like.
