My heart is really with the mustang but l still consider the Scion tc to be a good car, but kind of girly.Money is not that big of a problem, and neither is it being manual or automatic. thanks for the help

The big Q. is The MPG !!!! A no brainer when you consider gas 5.00 per gallon. Sure the mustang is a fine sportscar, but what is your budget ? 14 mpg Mustang ? OR 30 something MPG . Scion ? Do the math !!! good luck my friend,,,hard choice.

One is rear wheel drive, the other is front wheel drive. Will you ever be driving it in the snow? If yes, stay away from the Mustang. If you are worried about maint. costs and resale value, stay away from the Mustang. If you want good old American iron, go for the Stang.

depends, l went with the new scion. how old is the mustang? l like the features on the tc like ipod hookup, new, controls on the wheel, alot of room, & stuff like that. mustangs r cool but l can just put some stuff in the tc & make it faster. they top out at like 135. it all depends on what u need the car for. l play lacrosse & need room for all my stuff & friends at the same time so a mustang is a little small. also the tc is a little girly but get a spoiler & that kinda fixes it, plus its all about the driver, if u go 30 on a 45 road its going to be girly.

do you have money for gas? if yes then mustang all the way, IMO a better built car, the scion seems sorta cheap and poorly built.

If gas is not a problem get the Mustang. Its faster, RWD, supports our country not Japan. Mustangs have always had good reliability ratings. tC is seem to be hit or miss with quality. Both look good.

l have both
1990 Mustang 5.0 with lots of mods & l love this car looks great & super fast but there is no way l can drive it in winter with the snow. It also gulps down premium gas 11 mpg & at $4 + per gallon l cant afford to drive it 30 miles back & forth to work.
So l only drive it on the weekends.
2008 tC is my daily driver it has awesome styling & sips gas l average 27 mpg but is also quick for a 4 cylinder handles nice & is fun to drive.
If u can afford the gas & r not concerned with winter driving in the snow go for the Mustang.
