I'm looking at getting a 2008 Scion TC. The sticker price is $17,800. Could I get it for cheaper

What is the lowest price you think l could get it for?

Oh yes, the sticker price is not the lowest price. You want to take a look at the invoice price, and even then, you should negotiate lower.
use Kelley blue book

yes you can negotiate it down.btw if you come see me with a kelly blue book price then l will also use it when pricing your trade (lower value way lower)

This comes in a automatic & a standard transmission. The Invoice price on the standard is 16,770.00 (KBB.com) & for the Automatic it is 17,530.00. It mostly depends on how popular the car is on how far below the MSRP that is on the sticker. The Scion is a popular car & l would guess that it is going somewhere between the Manufactures suggest retail price ands the invoice price, not any less. You can use a broker & get a slightly used one that has been turned in off a lease or a repo.. They r like new with the warrenty etc.. with thousands off the price. You can get pre approved for a loan at a bank or a credit union & then contact a broker & tell him what u want.

Scion is no haggle pricing. You pay whats on the sticker for new cars.

Not on a scion. The price is a no haggle price. That means that you will find the same exact car (with all the same options) for the same price anywhere in the country. Its sort of like the carmax ''pure pricing'' moto.

No haggling you will pay sticker for new cars.

It is no haggle pricing, you pay what it sells for. That is the best part about it!

try to talk them down. id check more dealerships for specials and see if they have some thing like what you want and see if you can talk them down with paper work. if they do not id go to the other dealership.

l just bought a Scion. The price is fixed and the dealer can be penalized if they try to sell it for less. HOWEVER, watch out for BS ''fees'' (advertising reclaimation fee, etc.) and useless options (like paint sealant) they may try to add to the price to boost their profit.

NO. scions are pure priced so they will most likely not come down on price. l know a guy that is the gm of a scion dealership and he would not go down because scion will audit them every year and they will lose there license with scion for selling under sticker price. the most they can give is a 500 dollar employee and family discount. he gave me free stuff for the car like premium audio and a spoiler but no discount. if it is used you can make a deal.
