im not getting any other type of car because a friend of ours is the gm of a toyota dealership so im pretty much stuck with toyota. l have driven and seen all of the scions and like both the tc and xd but cant decide which is better. l play lacrosse so cargo space is kinda important, but l also need to cary people at the same time for long distances along with the stuff. l dont need a really fast car just fast enough to beat a 96 turcel and a 08 vw beetle(not that hard to do) price is good for both but for the tc l cant go over stock price for now.

l would go for the TC it looks better and is faster. You can also fold down the rear seats if you need more room for your lacrosse equipment.

The tc hand down

l would recommend the TC, the stock TC is a good car and it gets better mileage than the box on wheels. As has been stated, you can fold down the seats of the TC to add more cargo room, and there is plenty of room in the back seats for passengers as well. I'd go for the TC. Of course l am a bit bias since l have a TC.

l myself have been researching the hell out of Scion cars as l wanna get one too, & it all depends on what u want to do with it.. if you're really looking to carry a full car (4 or 5 people) WITH extra stuff, It is gonna be packed either way..
Lacrosse gear can pile up: pads, helmet, stick. & a full car will be cramped either way..
I'd say ur best bet is whether or not u really want to spend the extra cash. or unless u really want more than a stock car TC later on.. because u can supe up the XD too which should reach the same price as a stock TC.
If you're looking to save cash & gas, get the XD, if u do not really mind. go for the TC. either car is a good choice if those r ur choices. So go with whatever u think looks better..

If your looking for space. Then forget them both and go for the scion xb. It has plenty of cargo space , especially when you put the rear seats down. It also has the same engine as the scion tc.----2.4liter (also in the toyota camry). Gas mileage is the same as the tc, but with alot more room. And on top of that it will be cheaper than a tc also.
