Do Scion TCs come with 6cylinders? Or is it always 4 cylinders?

TC is only came with a 4 cylinder engine.

The factory engine is always a 2.4 liter, 4 cylinder, 161 Horsepower. It is the same engine used in the 4 cylinder Camry. As someone already stated there is a Scion Supercharger available that will take it to 200 horsepower. There r also aftermarket turbos that can be used to boost the horsepower. Some people prefer one over the other.

To get more information from people who have modified their engine u can contact a local Scion club or visit one of their sites. ScionLife & Scion Evolution r two of the largest resources, though there r others available.

the 2.4 is a strong engine. and there was no point in putting a v6 in there. the tc was ment to be the replacement for the toyota celica! also if you want to join a large scion club check out scionlife or scikotics there is always more turbo and supercharging talk on scikotics than scionlife and scionevolution put together!! hope this helps
