l am 15, soon to be 16 and l am planning on getting my first car. l found a very lovely Scion tC in Blackcherry color. 2006 for $13,995, 35,000 miles. It has very great features and everything. I am just wondering if it is a good first time car? Its going under my stepdads name who has close to perfect credit. So l do not know how much the monthly cost will be.
What do you think about this car?

awsome car for younger folks.. its the car that replaced the celica which was pretty fun for me to drive. 14k is a bit much you can negotiate cus that is marked up a good 1500!!

If you are rich enough to buy a $14,000 car and rich enough to pay the insurance for a newer 2 door car, then yes.

It is a safe and reliable car it would make a great first car.
You should be able to negotiate a better price for a 06 tC with 35,000 miles and probably get them to throw in a warranty. But if you were to finance $13,995 + taxes, title and license for 60 months you payment would be around $380 per month. Good luck.
