LOL wow.you sound like you do not know much about turbos and how they work. your car will probably break down if you just slap on the turbo and drive around without tunning and adding other parts your engine needs to be able to stay alive without blowing up.keep your scion stock. even with a turbo, an ST l or EVO will kill your scion because they are AWD. all wheel drive.

Wow..take it easy there..seems like a question mark overload. l will answer all of ur questions in order.if l can.
1. Does it run better in a TC 2008?
No idea what u mean. TC is r pretty easy to turbocharge if thats what u mean.
2. How much does it cost?
Depends on the Turbo Kit. I've seen them between $2795-$4095.
http://turbo-kits.com/tC_turbo_kits.html
3. Will it break down easier on the stock engine?
Not if you're using a minimum of 91 octane like u should. Also u should get it properly tuned right after u install it. Also you'd better start using high end synthetic oil like Royal Purple, Redline, Eneos.etc. Gotta change it every 3K miles MAX. I'd also change my fuel filter just in case to reduce the chance of running too lean.
4. Can l burn the STi or Evo with it?
Again this depends on the kit & how well u get it tuned. l am guessing most kits will give between 250-270whp.so some kits will make u faster, & some won't. The TC is actually a very heavy car, so that does not help at all.
5. How fast does it go?
Most guys with the Greddy kit r running low 14's..guys with the other kits r usually running mid to high 13's. You wo not beat an Evo or STi in the quarter mile, but u might from a roll.
6. How does it compare to stock?
There is no comparison.stock TC is suck.these kits make them not suck.
Hope this ur questions! Next time u ask a question I'd lay off the crack..it makes u a little ''question mark happy'' it seems.lol.

The TRD supercharger for the TC is about 3000.00 plus you want cold air induction, free flow converter and exhaust along with synthetic fluids to cut friction. Total is 3800.00 + original 17,500. It puts out with other adds 275 hp and 265 lb is of torque which is good for little 4 cylinder for 22,000.00. It puts no extra stress if done and if you use scion is TRD charger they have to install as the cold air too. Warranty stays the same 3 /36 and 5/60.

l would not suggest it. Like the 1st guy said. If u do not know what u r doing u will break stuff.

Costs can vary depending on the quality of the turbo, pressure, & company it comes from. You will need to tune it before u drive it too.

Any time u add things to ur engine that it was not built for u reduce the life of ur engine. A good turbo kit, with a safe pressure, & proper tuning should not hurt ur engine much. We r talking still good for over 100k miles easy.

No not in a drag race. Those cars r AWD & will smoke u off the line. From a roll depends on how much power u have but u have a much better shot.

Once again depends on the turbo, pressure, & tuning.

Top Gun is wrong about almost everything he mentioned except the price & still keeping the factory warranty (if its installed at a dealer). The tC S/C makes about 200 hp & 185 lb-ft of torque. Header, intake (TRD rebadged someone else is & doubled the price), catback exhaust (TRD is axleback), & tuning might pick u up 25 hp but that is not Toyota or TRD parts. A pulley will get u closer to Top Guns numbers but the new S/C is r tamper proof still so this option is out at the moment.

do not waste your money..Might as well by a Rx8 or 350z for that

Anytime you modify a car it becomes less reliable, with more things to go wrong.

it would cost u about 3000 - 6000 w/ turbo kits, guages that u must use when using turbo on car.

u will need to rebuild ur engine like adding new rods, pistons, etc. so then it would have more chances of doing a good job.

it they r modified.i would say no!!! because they got alot more horses then scion tC

it goes pretty fast l got a 08' tc & l like it without any mods..its fast ''i think that'' but not enought!!!
for the turbo tC hell yeah it would be fast & l read someone is profile they have a tC with 450hp!!!! :)
so it depends on ur mods & wat u use in ur car...
i would recomment u go on scionlife.com because that the place to ask scion tc questions not really in '' ''
:(
good luck bro!!
