Actual Top Speed is 127mph without a limiter.

l believe the limiter stops it at 120mph so there is no point.

To ungovern the Scion tC, you need to buy a new ECU(Chip), which wil cost you at least $1000 with installation.

You can probably buy a chip. Without it you would run out of gear at about 135 mph so whats the point? You cant legally go that fast and spending the money on a chip to get 8 mph higher top speed is hardly worth the money.

technically, yes there is. but you'd have to completely get rid of the ecu with a standalone ecu as there is no such thing as a ''chip'' for the tc that actually works. the thing is, the tc is ecu is programmed to learn & as a result constantly adjusts things based on the information it is getting by comparing it to other information in the ecu already, so it kinda compares what it is reading to what it came preprogrammed with in order to see if everything is working alright. if u just put a chip in there, yeah it will ungovern the tc for a few days but then the tc is ecu would recognize that there was something out of order/wack & will readjust itself until it gets to the level where it thinks things should be.

You will not get any more speed as 127-8 is tops as it is only 154HP and will not go faster.
