does anyone know where i could get a cheap good turbo for my 07 scion tc

they r on ebay, however if u buy one of those & install them they r sure to blow up ur engine & thus leaving u with a car that wo not run.

in honesty there is no such thing as a ''cheap'' turbo. r u talking about a turbo kit or just a turbo, since there r numerous types of turbos & turbo kits on the market. if you're thinking of a turbo kit, most complete kits cost at least $3500. there r other kits that r the stripped down version that wont produce much power for the money in my opinion. as far as kits go, u get what u pay for.

do u know the effects of installing a turbo in ur car? installing a turbo is not something to be taken lightly, this type of mod can & will have serious effects on ur car if not done properly or taken care of. l suggest learning about turbo is & what r involved with it before anything.

after that, look into premade kits since they r direct bolt ons & somewhat simple to install. set yourself a certain goal of hp u want to get & work from there. the best bang for ur buck right now is:

1) turbotoyotas
2) dezod
3) ptuning (i do not think its out yet)

keep in mind these kits cost u at least $3500+ without shipping or tax. after getting the kit, u still need to get gauges, new exhaust, gauge mount, & an upgraded clutch (not immediately but u will as the added hp & torque will cause ur tranny to slip faster than it would if the car was not f/i)

check out the links below & go to the forum section. read up about turbos & whatnot. u will see what kind of price range & what turbo kits r recommended. u may be able to find a used turbo kit for cheap on there, who knows.
