stay up and see what is causing it to go off. could be an electrical problem, or could be a car thief.

My car used to do the same thing. l had the alarm set up to go off when the hood, trunk, or doors where opened, as well as a shock sensor. When the hood would contract a little at night because of the cold, my alarm would go off. l disabled that part of the alarm & never had a problem since.

It could be there is something in ur area causing ur alarm to go off 3am. Could be the paper boy u did not tip, could be a commuter going to work or coming home with loud exhaust or pounding bass setting off ur alarm.

It could be ur car battery is getting weak. Some alarms r programed to go off if the voltage drops below a certain number. The cold night will cause the voltage to drop a little.

Be careful. This is a common tactic for a car thief. They will set your alarm off at night usually around 2-4 am every morning so that you disable your alarm completely. After they figure out you have disabled it they will break into your car and gut it.
