Can You Put The Factory Supercharger On A Automatic Or Is It Just For The 5 Speed Cuz The Guy At The Scion Dealership Told Me That The Automatic Doesnt Come With The Bolt Holes In The Engine Block For The Supercharger Sounds Weird To Me Help Me Out
i dont want a 5 speed l already have a eg hatchback with a h22 in it l just want a fun everyday driver with some power but l also dont want a v6 or v8

the supercharger will overpower the automatic which really is not designed for that much power. if you want a performance vehicle you really should be buying stick anyway, there is not way you will ever get the performance you want out of a slip shifter.

l am pretty sure you can install the supercharger in the automatic tC. try contacting a different dealer or try to chat with the scion rep online. That will be a real lose for scion if they let the supercharger installed in manual tC but not in auto. Thanks.

supercharger should fit on the auto as well. try & call different dealerships & ask around.

the guy at the top does not know what he is talking about. the tc is engine can handle up to 350 hp on stock internals. the thing u need to watch out for is the tranny. auto tranny is start to warp around 250 hp. with the supercharger, the tc is only up to about 200 hp which is nothing. the tranny can handle that easily. the engine can handle that easily.

in my opinion, the supercharger is not really worth it. you're only getting about 40 hp gain & about 30 whp. for the money, you're getting ripped off. l know that u said u just want an everyday driver, so why not just upgrade other stuff like the exhaust, handling, intake, pulley's, etc. it will be cheaper than a supercharger & it will sound nicer, plus u wo not have to pump premium because if u did get a supercharger u would have to.
