Yes it can be done, its rare to see a Turbo and SC on the same vehicle though. A friend of mine knew a guy that had a Honda with both. But why the hell did you choose a Scion to do that stuff to??? My stock Trans Am will beat your car with all that stuff (maybe not after you add a SC though) SC is generally are not cheap. I've priced them in the past in the $4000 range

under performance is the supercharger with details it costs about 3200 for more recent tc is including installation and adds about 40 hp so it would be around 320 hp total
i dont know if it would fit with what you already added

also look at the cold air intake. it adds just a little speed and makes it sound a lot cooler

The turbo for a Scion TC is a supercharger although there is not much differance. Air induction is offered & change the computer for performance. They do not make chips so send computer (there r tons of companies) & overnight u will have it back with everything u want changed.Also TRD exhaust is not for performance. Get shorty headers as they have more torque & of course Nos. The mmods here is under 1000.00 . Also the supercharger/turbo only makes 60-70-HP l only see about 210-215 HP, if u get a better supercharger(more efficient) for about 5000,00 u will be at 320-330 H.P. See Subaru WRX-i

Yes u can. Its called twin charging & VW actually makes a production car with it. Its also been used in rally racing & in semis in the past. It is incredibly complex to hook up all that stuff, takes a lot of room, & this would make it very expensive. Usually very complex new things r not very reliable. l think they r the 1st to put it in a production car. l guess since the VW is very new or not out yet only time will tell.

The tc has a centrifugal supercharger which is very similar to a turbo (good top end but no low end). It would not gain anything to hook it up with a turbo. You would want a roots or screw type supercharger because they make good low end power.

Why would you want to spend all that money twin-charging a tC?

Here is what you need to do:
• Buy a boost controller
• larger injectors
• strengthen your internals
• maybe a front mount inter-cooler
• TURN UP THE BOOST!!!!

l personally find it hard to believe that you have modified your car, or even have a car without this basic knowledge of forced induction.

do you want to switch from the turbo to a supercharger? or do you want to combine them both??? because the latter is a retarded idea. lots of dudes did this back in the 60-70 is whilst tripping on acid. gimmicky and lame compared to todays technology. Like someone else said l find it hard to believe you managed to do those mods you listed without knowing the answer to this question already.

u can twin charge it but it is a little pricy. beefing up ur internials is very expensive. the best betis to upgrade u turbo buy a boost controller turn the boost up but not to high the stock 2nz-fe motors r very skittish. What u need is a garret turbo bump up to a T4 ballbearing turbo, a front mount spearco intercoller & a greddy e-manege that`ll get u about 290-320 confotabbly, u should also up u tires to toyo proxes 4 they will get u better grip for more power. youo could also up ur flywheel, clutch among other things. If u r really serious yuo could turn ur car into a rear wheel drive scion & then u could push up to about 450. that should be some extra horsepower. email me for more info: hondakiller99.com. let me know if u need any more help.
