Should l put a spoiler on my scion tc? if so, which one, the rear lip or pedestal spoiler?

just buy a complete kit for it, and lower it 1 inch for better driving handling and better downforce, afterthat you should get HID lights and put a huge universal wing and a carbon hood, once this is done you can put a huge sticker on that back glass that says RICE! hope this is an automatic, its gonna kill !!!!!

Anyways, The Ped. spoiler looks awesome on the tC!!! l do not think the lip spoiler makes it look any different and for the money, you may as well spend it on something notcieable right? l think the ped spoiler gives it more of the G35 look and a cleaner more refined finish.

It is all about what u think looks better.

To be honest, l think the tC is look is very complete with a spoiler, whether it is the pedestal or the rear lip spoiler.

The real lip spoiler is much more subtle & does not really impede ur rear vision.

The pedestal spoiler, which, in my opinion, is the one l would get, is a bit larger, much more sporty looking, & more noticable on the car. l think it contours with the car very, very well. l do not recall ever having seen the rear lip spoiler.

Id do the ped.love the tc with a spoiler

l bought a vianatti spoiler, it kinda sits flat on the flank of the trunk and wraps down the quarter panels. l think it fills in the blank naked look of the rear section. Watch out with the wing thingy, it will start looking like a childs grocery cart.

It looks much better with the pedestal. Looks sorta empty without the spoiler.

l would go with the pedestal spoiler. the rear lip spoiler doesnt really change the appearance for the money you're going to spend. Do you already have the tC? If you do and your just adding it on, you can find one for ALOT cheaper online than from the dealership. check out sites such as spoilerdepot.com they have some other aftermarket ones that are in between the lip and the aggressive pedestal. hope this helps.

Depends on the look you are going for. If you just want to add a little something. I'd say go for the lip spoiler, but since you are adding after the fact l would go for the pedestal, its a little sportier and would draw a little more attention.

l tend to see more lip spoilers in my area, sadly my tC does not have a spoiler either. My silver one was the only manual on the lot and l had to have a 5spd

tC looks incomplete without a spoiler.but not a big wing.i like the lip spoiler, as it is subtle yet gives the back a nice shape
