l need a new car, and l have been looking around for one for some time now, and l think l want a Scion, Xa. Its in my price range, it looks cute and when l test drove it l had no problems. But no one l know owns one that l can ask about them. How reliable are they? What are some problems l may come across if any, if l purchase it brand new? What are some features l should be sure to get with it?
thanks =)

l think you will be happy with your choice of a scion..plus it is great to be driving a car different then one everyone else drives. l mean how many sables and taurus do you see in a day.and then how many scions, it is reliable..you can trust toyota.and you get your moneys worth. Enjoy your new car, In the xB l would recommend the interior leds.. l love mine and at night.it is very dark down in the foot area without them.but l dont know if the xA has them.

the xA is a nice little car. unfortunately, they stopped making them in 07. If u really like it, i'm sure u can still find a brand new one on a lot somwhere. the 08 scion lineup includes the tC (model has not changed very much) xB (not as ''boxy'' as before) & the xD (to replace the xA) & will be rolling out in about a month.xd & xB with slightly bigger engines than used right now. l have 2 tC is & both r very reliable. l havent had a single problem yet. Most scions come with every ''usable'' feature u could want (power windows, locks, ABS, etc). the options r more for enhancement like interior neon lighting & LED is to make ur car glow blue in the inside, etc.

I've had my little xA for almost 2 years now and l have not really had a problem with it. It is zippy, gets great gas mileage (somewhere around 33-35 mpg) and, yes, looks cute. It is pretty tiny, but the advantage is that you have great visibility when driving. l just got basic features, plus side curtain airbags.

the xA is a nice car, handles well and has nice interior/exterior features..it does not ride comfortable though, as it has a tight suspension.it lacks power from a 103hp 4 cylinder, which makes it great on gas..price is good as well. for 2008 though, the xA goes bye-bye, and the xD comes in.this one will be a step up from the xA and still affordable..check out more on this one at scion.com or scionlife.com

simple answer the scion line is Toyota. Toyota = reliability. all current scion models are ether based off a Japanese version that has been out for some time like the xa and xb or built off of a different us frame Tc=Toyota Camry (named most reliable car) so it should be an easy choice. Toyota is second to none.
