Just wondering because l dont know which to get..

Mostly, it is the little sticker that says ''Special Edition''. You might get some extra interior options and some other premium amenities, but underneath the skin they are both exactly the same car with exactly the same engine and drivetrain. Go for the one that fits your budget best.

The special edition tC is have extra accessories added to them to make them unique. Each special edition tC has a special color, sometimes different seats than the base model, & they have a badge numbering which one out of say, 2500 there r in the United States.

Release Series 1 (RED): Upgraded Wheels, Grill, Badging.

Release Series 2 (BLUE): Grills, Matte Finished 17's, Small Rear Subwoofer, Alacantara seats, Badging.

Release Series 3 (PEARL): Tail Lights, Grill, Seats, Razo Shift Knob, Lip Kit, Badging.

Special Edition tC is r nice & all, but in my opinion, if u want accessories added to ur car, u should just get a base model tC & put whatever u want on it so it is unique to ur own specifications.

Enjoy ur tC whichever one u get. They r nice cars. So r the xB's. :)

the special edition has no 17 is no painted door handles no spare tire a fixed roof and special badges

its exactly the same car with just some appearance modds. a plate mounted on the radio cover tells what number out of the total number of release series your car is. also most of them that l have seen have had the interior LED lighting, spoiler, and of course, the non-base paint job.
as far as carguys answer, he is referring to the ''tuner'' model, not the release series.
