yes, suspension, struts, axels, drive shaft joints/boots, etc are not designed for the side stresses. any stock car you will trash in very short period of time.

Well you run the risk of messing it up in the 1st place. (hitting curbs, signs, anything in the way) you also run the risk of flipping it because of its box design. l would say it would be stupid but if u have the money to fix it or buy a new car + any med. bills due to an accident. Then go right ahead.

l would just stick to using something small with great handling

perhaps you should be asking ''how much fun would it be to watch a scion roll over?''

Its stupid to try and drift a FWD car. Thats not drifting, its sliding. Either way you will end up breaking something or hurting someone.

Yes, that is a REALLY bad idea. l can almost guarantee something will go wrong. Either u will ruin ur suspension, the car will flip, & u will hit something. You will most likely turn the car on it is side, & trust me, aside from ruining ur car, assuming u emerge unhurt, u will face massive legal problems & will probably lose ur licence. My advice to u is this, sell the xB, & buy a Nissan 240sx, one of the early hatch backs perferably. These r low to the ground, nice looking, & RWD. These r natural born drifting cars. Plus, u can probably find a good one for very little money, so you'd benefit from selling the scion, l mean, u could buy a $3000 240SX, & then use the rest of the money u got from the scion to mod it & make it look nice & go fast. Good luck & PLEASE, do NOT under any circumstance drift in ur scion. It is a disaster waiting to happen. That is like drifting in a Jeep.

bad idea.that is a cruising car for a teenager.Nothing more

It is no more stupid than drifting any other car. Drifting is by definition ridiculous.

So it is like asking if a Scion xB is unsuitable for a demo derby or for driving off a cliff during an adventure film sequence.
