l like the way it looks so I am not interested in people saying it is a bad car because of it is looks. I am a small girl so leg room does not matter. I am worried about if it is dependable and the gas mileage? If you're an owner what are must have add ons? Is it nice driving? I am not TOO concerned about speed.

Its a good car but wind can be a problem.
Driving is fun but its a bit bumpy and if you get in a wreck, your screwed.

l love mine. get about 30 mile to gallon on gas, fun car to drive and very dependable because its a Toyota.

Dependability is not an issue because as someone mentioned, Scions are rebadged Toyota's. You should get AT LEAST 30MPG, which is pretty good. Funny though because my tC gets about 36mpg with a fairly bigger (2.4L) engine. l road in a xB, and the ride was rubbish! l thought we were on a cobble stone road, but that is just me. Good luck with your purchase!

l have 5k miles on my 06 xb & i'm getting 40 mpg! woohoo! l did not start getting that mileage until now, l guess u need to break in the engine first. But it gets SUPER gas mileage. I've had it for 8 months now, no problems at all. Except my seat smells like fart cuz l fart alot. LOL! But i'm going to wash that out with some berry sunshine unicorns or something like that.....Yeah it is a very reliable car that is very cheap on gas & would recommend to anyone who wants to save money on a car & get one that is fun to drive. l refer to my car as my friend, not my car. So l go out with my friend everyday, not my car. You will get attached to it. it is like the little train that could. lol. It also has plenty of legroom for 4 sumos too.

l GET ABOUT 31 MPG IN MINE. AND IF YOU DO SOME RESEARCH, CONSUMER REPORTS WILL TELL YOU THAT THEY INDEED ARE RELIABLE CARS.HOWEVER l WOULD LOOK INTO THE 2008 SCION xB THEY ARE SUPPOSED TO HAVE SIDE AIR BAGS, AND MY UNDERSTANDING IS THAT THEY RATE POORLY IN THE SIDE CRASH TESTS.JUST DO YOUR RESEARCH AND MAKE WHATEVER DECISION FEELS RIGHT TO YOU!
