Low and behold, a rock went through one of my $171 fog lights in my tC.Ive been looking and looking for a factory OEM replacement that wo not cost me an arm and a leg!Any help!?

l think u will have to bite the bullet on this one. l know l had one of my fog lights on my Dodge Ram get a rock & it cost me $250.00 to replace.

What l would suggest is once u get ur fog light installed, buy some or head to a body/detail shop & ask them to place some clear 3M protective tape on ur lights (clear tape).

This is the tape that most detail shops or dealers will use as a protective clear bra on cars. l have done this with all my vehicles by placing this tape on as clear bra (front facia & hood & mirrors) as well as adding it to my fog lights & even on my head lights & it has protected my hood & lights very well.

It is fairly cheap to get the lights done as the detail shop only charged me $15 for the fog lights & headlights. Well worth it in the end & it protects from big $ damage.
