anyone have that horrible rattle from the hatchback. its about to drive me crazy.
it has 37,000 miles on it and the sunroof has not started yet. but l will be on the look out for it. thanks

haha. YES! all tCs have it. When ur running 2 huge subs it gets even worse. You can go to ur local audio shop (even bestbuy or circuit citys audio department might have it) & get a truck insulator kit. Its like a dynomat but in thin strips with adhesive on one side. Put this all along the door of ur hatch & it completely goes away. How many miles do u have on ur tc? Once u get about 15K the sunroof starts to rattle too, but there is a TSB out for it so if it starts rattling, call ur scion/toyota dealership & they will fix it right up!

They all have it and the sunroof one eventually. There are TSB is (Technical Service Bulletin) for it. It basically says Scion knows its a design problem with the car but it is not safety related. Safety related design problems will be recalled instead. Take it to the dealer and they will fix it for free. Several of the TSB is also do not work but its worth a shot.

Yes. With subs it is worse but can be fixed for free at dealer.
