Accidently tried the reset instructions at the Trip instead of at the Odometer and recieved a message '' S Off''. What does that mean?

l looked it up on my Toyota/Scion Factory web sight and there is nothing about that, l have never heard of that myself eather, Sorry

You ar forgetting a letter or 2.

no clue l have never seen that message. to reset the light you have to 1) hold down the odometer/trip button 2)turn the key two clicks to the on position 3) wait for the dashes to count down, turn to all zeroes, and when the mileage comes back up its reset. your car has to be in the odometer position in the first place to do this.

To reset it, Hold down the button, then turn on the power while still holding the button down. Do not start the car-only the electricity. Then let go after the light blinks and turns off.
