yes it could but you have to use Toyota Engine like any Toyota V6 engine because you know scion is made by Toyota so do not put other engine beside Toyota Engine. got it. good luck and let me know how did it work.

i'd recommend putting a small block chevy v8 in there. that will really make it go,

No. It is not possible to put a V6 engine into a Scion tC.

Well l have always thought it would be kewel to take the drive line out of a Ford GT and listen to the engine breath from behind instead of my 4 kicker 15 is and 3-12's. Oh what a feelin to drive my Scion.

The only engine l would think about doing a swap with would be the camry engine from the V6 model: 3.5-liter DOHC 24-valveDual VVT-i V6268 hp 6200 rpm/ 248 lb.-ft. 4700 rpm. However, the dimensions of this engine would not fit in the engine bay of the tc. You would be better off adding a turbo kit anyways, and you would be able to make more hp then the V6.
