The Tc is cheaper and has a toyota engine. It is an excellent first car. You can get a tomtom for much cheaper than a factory option gps system.

for a girl, i'd say go the mazda .. for the guy, i'd say go the tC because of all the after market things that he could do to it. l own a tC and l love it, but the mazda 3s are really nice too.

mazda 3 dosent come with navi until you spend about 25k on the thing, the tc comes with more features than the loaded maz 3 and costs about 5k less

Honestly at the age of sixteen and getting a car l think you should just be thankful that your parents are even considering to buy you a car.

The Mazda 3 does not have a standard navigation system. It is available, however, as an additional accessory. Of course, u have to spend about $2,000 or so more (depending on where in the country u live).

The Scion TC does not offer navigation, but u can buy a very good an affordable one at a any circuit city or best buy.

l own a Scion Tc, & l love it! My friend owns a new Mazda 3, & it too is a great car. There r very few differences. both r equally good for men & women. Personally, l like my TC, maybe because l am bias. l have noticed, however, that my TC has a younger/sportier feel than does the Mazda 3.

Go with the TC, u wo not be disappointed.

The Scion tC would be a better choice because it is more reliable and cheaper than a Mazda 3.
