Whats the difference between the 2008 scion tC and the 2005 through 2007? l have a 2008 but l can not tell what makes the new years so much better.

When l purchased my 07 TC, the dealer told me that the 08 & 09 were likely not going to have substantial changes to the engineering or design. He also said that the price was not going to change. l have seen the new 08 & have noticed that the tail lights r a little different, the front grill is a little different & the strereo is slightly different.

There is not a substantial difference at all.

It is still a great car! l love my TC!

well in 08 they changed:
the headlight bulbs to projection lenses...which looks alot more tight then other ones.
Tail lights have been changed
Pioneer CD Player have been upgraded by adding a new sub in the trunk and i-pod connectivity is available without upgrading
Changed the front upper and lower grill to new design
that is about it and its not really much difference, just little upgrades. and by the way enjoy ur new ride..

They changed the headlights and taillights and added the option of a navigation system. If you look closely, they also changed the front grille. It has a different pattern. Other than that, its the same as the 2007, which got a standard ipod port, and the sunroof came with the clear coating that was a recall in the 2005 and 2006 models.
