I am to the point where l wanna kick this car the ride is so bumpy, l know it came with macpherson struts and shocks and l was looking on the scion website at optional TRD struts/shocks replacements.Are macpherson struts just absolute shit and l should replace them?Or is the car hopeless and l should begin kicking it?

xa suspension is not much diffrent from the echo& and if you boughtit new it doe not come with mcpacpherson struts & shocks. if you are looking into trd strut & shocks it will make the suspension even more stiff

the easiest was to soften the ride witch still wound be easy is to go to an ''after market'' spring company & talk with the sales tech & tell them how u want the car to ride. it will never ride like a caddy much to small but if can loss the jarring, but beware that u can not go to soft on the springs as u can bottom the car out quickly. l would suggest a progressive rate spring for you, witch is like having two springs a soft one & a stiffer one in the city streets it would be about a 25 -40 % improvement & if u ride with a passenger the springs would get just a hair stiffer but the tech guys will shoot u strait
