l am currently looking at buying a Scion xB and was wondering if anyone, preferreably an xB owner, could give some pros and cons, or any other information they might think l should know.

a guy at work has one, its total crap if you ask me, to small, weird and ugly, get a real car.

As long as you do not mind riding around in a cracker box with go cart wheels, go for it!!!

If thats the little sporty coupe buy it... really sexy and lots of room for a small car.
A couple of my friends have those coupes.
If thats that square box thing dont buy it.. that is the ugliest car on this planet.

Pros: inexpensive, can be fixed up
Cons: Ugly looking!

If you want to get a Scion, go with the TC. Much better car.

It is a very nice, cool, cheap little box on wheels. The interior space is amazing for such a tiny vehicle (although cargo space with the rear seats in use is very small). It is biggest flaw is that it is very underpowered. Be sure to get one with a manual transmision. Automatic xB is are slower than tired snails.

Iwork at a Scion dealership. You would be surprised how many people say they are ugly but have them and love em. Nobody in its class can be the quality and dependability since they are made by Toyota.

scions seem to lack some horsepower but they do look good

Do not know much about them but l did get in one at the auto show and l like how roomy they are. l am not skinny either, so l found it surprising to be so roomy. l like how they look too. And you can connect your ipod!

the xB l would say is okay but slow acceleration and loud engine noise. the radio is weirdly designed but trunk space is plentiful.

really really ugly

l own a 05 xb and l like it. Ive had a lot of american cars but the japanese really know what they are doing. Ive got a cold air intake, catback exhaust, woofers, drop kit, drop down monitor/dvd, light upgrades, custom lettering, tint and much more. its a fun car to drive for 108hp it isnt to bad on the acceleration. It is a great lil car- buy it for the gas milage, roomy interior, and price!

l have had one for 3 weeks now and so far love it. Yes it does have the look of a washing machine dropped on it is back. But l think that it is unusual look is a part of its charm. Has endless possiblities for customizing and even the power issue is addressable. If you think you can live with people looking at an unusual vehicle then get it.

Well fom what l read no one really like the xb. l really wanted one last year. l got a chance to use one & l was really impressed, people who complain about the engine being underpowered mus have something wrong with theirs, no l know power when l drive l was a scca licensed gt-1 driver so l know performance, l test drove both a tc & an xb with all of the handling kits & they were very responsive & for the price it is a great package. So if u like hating go ahead & hate on the xb, u either love it or hate it. l love my xb.

l think Scion is cheap.. l would put it in the same category is Kia!

Cool car, seats do not support the upper legs too well though.
